So, I am aware that up to this point in time, I haven't exactly provided you with much food for thought as far as my game goes.
Back on the Villains tribe, things looked hopeless at first. Our tribe sucked, we were in shambles, constantly fighting, we didn't like each other, we barely talked with each other, each inactive that we got rid of seemed to produce another. I got into a dispute with Pamela (the first of many disputes of people vs. Pamela) during the first fucking challenge!
Then suddenly, we stepped our game up. We won challenges! I made a solid core alliance with Esther, myself, Jennifer Check, and Jennifer Tilly.
Together, we did work as a tribe. We got rid of Billy, who never really existed first. Next, we took out Peter, the sobber who kept making excuses. Lastly, we took out Adam, and I got nervous as we seemed to be consistent in eliminating the men. lmao!
However, the last vote as the Villains tribe drove us apart. Jigsaw wanted to blindside Tilly, and Check was on board, and this made them hate each other, but really they attempted to get out Pamela, but she used her Hidden Immunity Idol? Yeah, I don't know. Point is, what we did still worked, and we got out Adam.
Then, we kept winning, and we merged at 12 people. Things seemed to be looking up for me. As far as my knowledge goes, I hadn't really made any enemies out of anyone.
Then, our first challenge of the merge---well first we had to name the tribe. I figured whoever's name got chosen would do SOMETHING significant, as there was a vote and everything. My name, SEQUELI, got chosen! Sequeli sounding tribe-ish and because every horror movie needs a sequel, right?
Anyways, my duty was to put us into pairs for the first "Individual" Immunity Challenge. My plan? Put myself with the person that would most likely allow me to win, and make every other pair as dysfunctional as possible. Hi, Tilly and Pamela.
My plan worked. I put myself with who I thought is the strongest competitor, Bobby, and we did in fact win the challenge! We had to send someone to Exile and he wanted to send Annie (alliance proven much?), but I somehow got him to let us send Esther and Jenn Check.
At our first Tribal Council, the Heroes turned on one another. I guess Dewey wanted to vote off Laurie or was spreading lies about her, and she wanted to get him out because of it.
Well, I agreed. At this point I wanted to stick with my Villains (as unlikely as it seemed) and continue to take Heroes out and maintain a majority over them. Plus, me and Dewey never talked.
He was easily taken out. Bye Dewey.
At this point in time, it became clear that there were factions in this game.
Laurie and Annie seemed to be an alliance, but apparently not as would be revealed after this round.
Jigsaw came to me for a Final 4 alliance with Esther, Jenn Check, and himself. I agreed to it, it became clear that Tilly was no longer on this side and had joined forces with Annie, Bobby, and such.
Meanwhile, Clear has been telling me EVERYTHING and wanting to work with me, but she seemed to be doing the same with everyone. Does she think I'm not noticing and I don't talk to anyone? Everyone seemed to think she was on their side, but whose side is she really on?
Anyways, the challenge this time was a Plate Smash. Laurie took me out first and eventually went on to win the challenge.
I then go on to find out, after talking with Annie (for the first time since I think pre-merge lol), that she was suggesting for people to vote me out of the game. Makes sense, she took me out first after all. Anyways, it led to a whole dispute.
Meanwhile, my "alliance" wanted to take out Tilly, which I didn't agree with. I've been getting along with Bobby/Annie/Tilly lately, so I didn't want to see any of them leave. I wanted to take out Laurie and who could potentially be her closest ally, and that seemed to be Ellie. So bye to Ellie it was. And it worked! (BTW, totally knew Annie and Bobby were an alliance since pre-merge...it made no sense that she kept sending him to Exile without our input and out of all the people on that tribe to send him.)
Coming into next round, my "alliance" was making me feel more and more uncomfortable. They keep coming up with these rash decisions and telling me the plan and then asking me if I agree, rather than physically including me in the planning itself. It's not a good look. Not to mention, Jenn Check barely talks to me anymore.
This round was all about HII's. Like, how many are there in this game, honestly? It's becoming a bitch to have to wrap your mind around them and plan accordingly.
Anyways, this round was the Survivor Auction. I missed out. Bad timing to miss something, right?
The end results.... Bobby had two votes at the next Tribal Council, Jigsaw went to Exile with FOUR clues, Pamela had a cleared vote, and Jenn Check won Immunity. That's at least what I can remember that mattered.
Afterwards, the plan was to vote Laurie, point blank. Esther and them came to me with yet another plan that would get Tilly and Bobby to use an Idol and blindside Clear (or so they thought?), but it wouldn't have worked. Pamela never even made it on to vote, Bobby had 2 votes, the votes weren't going to go as they predicted (which I knew since I had talked to both sides). I was the swing in the matter, and I wanted to stick to getting Laurie, who at this point is my least fave, out of the game. My side seemed to think she would vote with them, but facts were she was going around trying to get Jigsaw blindsided.
I talked with Annie and learned her side had two idols, and that they constantly pass them around so the other side will never know who has them. Can't lie, it's a good strategy.
Anyways, she planned to make a fake HII to give to Laurie and make her think she was safe and had gotten Jigsaw out.
In the end, Laurie was voted out and her intentions became clear.\
My position on the issue about the HIIs, by the way. I agree, once an Idol is used, you can't take it back or change your mind. I don't know why it's a big deal. No, it's not like the show, but i've never seen a game involving HIIs where someone said they used it and then took the decision back. I think that Annie and Tilly were a bit pissed they wasted their Idols when neither were ever in any real danger this round, and now they're worried that their games are over.
Honestly, this game is a whirlwind. Clear is now worried she is next and wants to take out Jenn Check or Jigsaw, but is scared that they have Idols, which is very possible. At the very least, they have AT LEAST one Idol.
At this point, the sides are clear...
Bobby, Annie, Tilly. [Clear not set on a side but heavily leaning towards this side.]
Jigsaw, Esther, Jenn Check.
Pamela--> Questionable, but leaning towards Villains side?
Myself....honestly, I don't know. I know i've said "my side" and "Annie's side" and whatnot throughout this confessional, but I agreed with Annie to work with them and be F5. However, I know with both alliances, I am towards the bottom (With Villains only saying this because I talk with them less frequently now and have been stopping their plans to do what I want). So basically, I'm damned if I do, I'm damned if I don't. So i'm going to make it NOT that way. I'm scoping out my situation and I want to see how long I can continue to not take a side and find excuses to remove people from each side before committing. I know that right now I have more potential to make finals (which i'm assuming is a Final 3, btw) if I stick with the "Villains" side, but at the same time, there are possibly two Idols there.
This is all so much, and i'm right in the middle. It's a very good AND a very bad spot to be. I guess we'll see how this all pans out. One thing's for sure, I am a Villain and I intend to play by that mantra.
